Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux administration, network, routing, and VPC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), optimizing for scalability, security, and cost.
- Implement Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and establish CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform and script routine tasks for operational efficiency.
- Administer Linux systems, ensuring performance and security through updates and patches.
- Configure network components and troubleshoot issues to optimize traffic flow.
- Enforce security best practices and collaborate with the security team for compliance.
- Set up monitoring solutions, develop incident response plans, and maintain documentation for configurations & procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
- Proven experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, routing, and VPC configurations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
